The author is a 46-year-old man who has Cerebral Palsy and learned at an early age what it feels like to be treated as “different.” Kids at school weren't always kind—he was teased, stared at, and underestimated—but those experiences quietly shaped something powerful inside him: empathy, resilience, and a deep understanding of what kids really need when they feel alone and different than others.
As an adult, he chose to turn those hard moments into hope. Through his stories, he wants children to know that being different isn’t something to hide—it’s something to honor. Everyone has their own way of moving through the world, and every way matters. His greatest wish is for kids to see themselves as worthy, capable, and never alone, no matter what challenges they face. He believes dreams don’t come with a “one-size-fits-all” path—and that courage, kindness, and imagination can take you places you never expected. When he’s not writing, he’s cheering on young dreamers everywhere, reminding them that their voice counts, their story matters, and who they are is already enough and they are not alone.
